The screenshot with the new chat experience might be wrong. The title of the sidebar says “Chat” and we something that looks like a chat however the Chat icon in the menu left of the sidebar is not what is selected. It’s the “Teams” icon.

Also. Imagine we are working on topic A. We have a team chat where we discuss topic A. However every time any team member invites to a meeting discussing anything related to A a new chat is created for that meeting. After the meeting we now have messages left in that meetings chat but the conversation keeps happening in that original team chat. Result: endless of chats with the same people over the same topic. Either we are using Teams “wrong” or this is just a feature.
